What To Expect

• Preseason Games: Get ready for two thrilling preseason games that set the stage for the action-packed season ahead.

• Regular Season: Enjoy the competition with a total of 8 regular-season games. Our girls give their best on the field to make every game memorable.

Season Schedule

Game Days and Times

• Weekday Games: Most of our games are scheduled during the week, providing a perfect mid-week break for families.

• Game Times: Games typically start at 6:15 pm or 7:30 pm, ensuring convenient and family-friendly hours for our young athletes.

• Game Duration: Get ready for intense but time-efficient games! Each softball game lasts for a duration of 80 minutes, ensuring excitement without dragging on.

Practice Sessions

• Location: All practices are held at South Garner Park, a fantastic space dedicated to honing our players' skills.

• Saturday Practices: Join us on Saturdays for skill-building sessions. Practice times may vary based on coaches' availability, ensuring flexibility for everyone.

Communication and Scheduling

• Team Snap: Stay in the loop! All league communication and scheduling are efficiently managed through Team Snap, making it easy for parents and players to stay informed.

Rules and Regulations

• Tarheel Softball Rules: Garner Sports League Softball adheres to Tarheel Softball Rules, promoting fair play, sportsmanship, and a positive game environment.

League Flexibility

• JCAA Circuit: In the event that there aren't enough registrations within GSL, our teams may join the Johnston County Athletic Association (JCAA) circuit for continued play and competition.

Gear and Attire

• Included with Registration: Each player is provided with a jersey and belt upon registration, ensuring they are ready to hit the field in style.

• Player's Expense: While jerseys and belts are covered, players are responsible for acquiring their own helmets, bats, softball pants, socks, cleats, and gloves. Make sure your player is geared up for a season of softball excitement!
